What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember you between pages and visits. Asads deliberately uses very few — only what sign-in and your saved preferences need. Some settings, such as your theme choice, are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in cookies.
Essential cookies
Signing in relies on session cookies set by our sign-in provider (Clerk) to keep your account secure — the service cannot work without them. We also set two preference cookies: as_locale remembers your language for up to one year, and as_region remembers which regional edition of the service you use. When bot protection is enabled on the contact form, Cloudflare may set its own cookie while verifying that you are human.
Analytics cookies
We measure visits to our public marketing pages with Vercel Analytics, which is designed to work without cookies and does not track you across other sites. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not set third-party tracking cookies inside the application.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though blocking the sign-in cookies will stop the service from working. Your language choice can be changed with the language switcher on any page, which simply rewrites the as_locale cookie.
