Terms of Service

Draft — last updated 22 July 2026.

Draft — this text is under review and does not yet form a binding legal document.

Acceptance of terms

Asads is a materials-specification platform for architecture and interior-design professionals, operated from Hong Kong. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms, on your own behalf and, where applicable, on behalf of the organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. While the draft notice above is displayed, this text is provided for review and takes effect only in its finalised form.

Accounts

You need an account to use the platform, and accounts belong to the organisation that registers them — its administrators manage member access. Keep your sign-in details secure, make sure the information you register is accurate, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. Multi-factor authentication is available for every account through our sign-in provider, and our policy requires administrator accounts to enable it.

Acceptable use

Use Asads for lawful specification work only. You must not attempt to access another organisation’s data; probe, overload or disrupt the service; scrape or copy the platform’s underlying databases or generated content for use outside your own projects; resell access without our agreement; or upload material that is unlawful or that you have no right to use.

Billing

Paid plans are billed as subscriptions, and platform usage draws on the credits included with, or added to, your plan. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and payment is handled by our payment provider. If your credit balance is exhausted or your subscription ends, you may be unable to use paid features until you top up or renew. For billing questions, contact us through the contact form.

Limitation of liability

Asads is provided on an “as is” basis. Generated schedules and specification documents support your professional work — they do not replace professional judgement, and you are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim; nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
