Information we collect
We collect what you provide when you create an account and work in Asads: your name, email address and sign-in details; your organisation’s name and settings; project data such as project names, uploaded drawings and door schedules, questionnaire answers and generated schedules; messages you send through the platform or the contact form; and billing records for your plan. We also keep limited technical logs — such as error reports and security events — needed to run the service safely, plus basic, cookie-less usage statistics for our public marketing pages (see the Cookie Policy).
How we use information
We use this information to provide the service: analysing uploaded drawings, generating door and hardware schedules and specification documents, connecting you with suppliers you choose to contact, and operating your subscription, billing and support. We also use it to keep the platform secure and to improve how the product works. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your project data to build products for anyone else.
How we share information
We share personal data only where the service needs it: with the cloud providers that host and operate our infrastructure (listed in the Data Processing Agreement), with a supplier when you choose to send them an enquiry, with our payment provider when you make a purchase, and where disclosure is required by law. We never sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention
Uploaded drawing files are kept only long enough to be analysed and are permanently deleted from our storage within about two hours of upload — the platform retains the structured project data and generated documents, not your original files. A deleted project enters a 30-day grace period during which it can be restored, after which it is permanently removed. Account data is kept while your account is active; when it is closed, we remove personal data we are not legally required to keep.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to and correction of your personal data. Within Asads you can edit your profile at any time, request a copy of your data from Settings → “Data & privacy” (we prepare the export and let you know when it is ready), and close your account from Settings → “Close account”. For anything you cannot do in the product, contact us and we will verify your identity before acting on the request.
